Turmeric Tea (Golden Milk)

★Ingredients

1 cup milk (or almond, coconut, or oat milk for a vegan option)

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for added flavor)

1/2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

A small pinch of ginger powder (optional, for extra anti-inflammatory benefits)

★Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.
  2. Add the turmeric powder, black pepper, cinnamon, and ginger powder.
  3. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Avoid boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Add honey or maple syrup if desired, and stir.
  6. Pour into a cup and enjoy warm.
